Solarcoin

SolarCoin is a solar energy rewards network that distributes KSLR tokens to verified solar electricity producers across +150 countries and has been operating since 2014. Participants can freely register eligible solar installations, verify electricity generation, and receive 1 KSLR for each kilowatt-hour produced. The program is designed to accelerate the global energy transition by providing a free, blockchain-based incentive for solar generation. SolarCoin now operates on Base and supports both self-custody and managed-account user flows.
